It’s a Small World

We have all heard of the saying ‘it’s a small world’ often said when we see someone or something we were not expecting to see there. For examples, meeting someone while travelling abroad and then randomly bumping into them at your local supermarket, or finding out your old school mate now works in the same office as you.

At eMop, we have a similar story to share – it involves one of our staff.

One of our cleaners, let’s call her Isabel, was allocated to one of our new clients, whom we will call Maria. Shortly after sometime, Maria rang us asking for a replacement. Isabel also rang saying, “Can you please cancel my job?” Adding, “There is no way I can clean Maria’s flat.”

This was followed by an explanation from both which revealed that Isabel and Maria were both best friends once. But sadly, they had an argument and fell out. When Maria looked for a cleaner, she had no idea Isabel worked for us.

We hope by now they have become friends again!
